More than just acupuncture, sessions are a guided immersive experience
where youβre supported every step of the way.
Your Acupuncture Experience
All clients begin with an Initial 90 minute Consultation & Treatment.
In the Initial session weβll get to know one another and begin planning how to address your areas of concern together.
Dr. Allison will assess your vital signs, palpate your pulse, and analyze your tongue's appearance and listen attentively to your health history, symptoms, and goals
Together weβll come up with a treatment plan and timeline thatβs unique to your person.
Each session is customized to how youβre feeling on that day while following the treatment plan.
Somatic Integration & Acupuncture
My approach to acupuncture is enriched with somatic integration, creating a uniquely interactive and empowering experience. Instead of passively receiving treatment, you are invited to actively engage with your body's wisdom.
Somatic Touch and Tracking: During your session, we use gentle, intentional touch to guide your awareness. This helps you to track your own sensations as the acupuncture points are activated. This dynamic engagement fosters a deeper cohesion between your mind and body, allowing you to sense and understand how the treatment is working in real-time.
Somatic Integration for Organ Systems: This approach goes beyond treating symptoms by addressing the underlying emotional and energetic patterns held within the body. By combining acupuncture with focused somatic work, we help to integrate these internal experiences into the whole, fostering a sense of harmony and completeness.
