Therapeutic Modalities
-
Traditional Fire Cupping
This ancient technique uses glass cups to create suction on the skin which lifts connective tissue and works to release muscle tension, improve circulation, detoxify the body and reduce inflammation.
-
Bodywork
Bodywork techniques combine Tui Na and intuitive massage as well as somatic bodywork to promote deep relaxation, address pain and integrate body systems to encourage whole-body health.
-
Moxibustion
Moxibustion involves burning a smokeless mugwort incense stick to apply heat to specific parts of the body. The gentle heat stimulates blood flow which can be effective for improving energy and relieving pain.
-
Somatic Integration
Somatic Integration is all about connection. Through holds , guided awareness and gentle touch the body is tined into sensations and patterns of tension. This process can help release stored stress and emotions leading to a deeper connection with yourself.
